Jewel Thief is the title of a 1967 film starring Dev Anand; however, the two films are completely unrelated. A production insider earlier informed Pinkvilla that Siddharth Anand had this title registered under his banner and felt it suited this story perfectly. Thrilling action and a taut, suspenseful plot come together in this brand new story.
Aside from the two male characters, Nikita Dutta and Kunal Kapoor also feature prominently in the film. Saif and Siddharth Anand have worked together before on romantic comedies like Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum, but this is the first time they've worked together on a film directed by Robbie Grewal.
