At 4 p.m. April 6, the Delano Chamber Orchestra will present its “Rising Stars” concert, where two outstanding graduating high school seniors are chosen as featured soloists. The concert will be held at The District Church (304 S. Seneca, Wichita).
Derby High School senior Brandon Beal, horn, was one of the two soloists selected through the orchestra’s 2025 Young Artists competition. He will perform the first movement of the “Concerto for Horn and Orchestra” at the concert, which will also feature music from the animated film “How to Train Your Dragon.”
Admission for the concert is free, though donations ($10 or more) are suggested.
